Job Description

As a Coffee Tax Specialist in our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team, you will play a key role in executing coffee tax compliance processes mainly for Germany. This hands‑on role includes calculating and verifying coffee taxes, preparing tax returns, and ensuring all activities meet local regulatory and corporate standards. You will work closely with internal teams and local markets, support audits, and contribute to process improvements, automation, and standardization across our tax and statutory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare coffee tax returns for tax warehouses, purchases, and refunds
  • Calculate, verify, and arrange payments for coffee taxes
  • Prepare tax confirmation statements and maintain master data
  • Support local finance teams during coffee tax audits and ad hoc projects
  • Integrate regulatory changes into compliance processes and recommend required actions
  • Collaborate with the customs & duties manager to ensure accuracy and legal compliance
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Operations) to gather and validate data
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process standardization within GBS tax and statutory processes

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the areas of coffee tax in an industrial company or a freight forwarding company
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Very good English skills, German language skills are an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • trong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment.
