Global HR Technology Lead (HR Project Manager)

Job Description

The Global HR Technology & People Analytics team is pivotal in ensuring a great user experience for our associates, a digitalized HR Function and ensuring decisions are made based on data. The team is responsible for developing and driving the HR Technology and People Analytics strategy. Working with the other global HR centers of excellence, Finance, IT and the countries, the team makes sure to scope new requirements, include them on the short- & long-term planning of initiatives and ensures timely delivery.

Some of the initiatives are full-scale implementation projects, some are improvements within the existing technology landscape, always international across Europe, APAC, Latin America & the Middle East. The current landscape includes SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters and Visier. The team always investigates new technologies and keeps up with HR Technology trends to ensure JDE stays up to date with the latest technology.

Projects that you’ll be responsible will strongly improve the associate experience, allowing our HR teams to focus on the topics that matter, while empowering managers. This can be across our core processes such as performance, talent, merit & succession as well as projects in the HR Services domain.

You will work with the HR IT team within the IT organization that handles the more technical aspects of HR Technology, while the technical support is outsourced to a third party, allowing you role to work close to the business.

In your role as HR Technology Lead you will be:

  • Driving associate experience through technology, ensuring HR efficiency and manager empowerment
  • Project managing implementations, changes and decommissioning of technology
  • Contributing to the strategy of people analytics and driving the deployment of initiatives for a data driven HR function
  • Driving standardization and improvement of processes based on best practises, while meeting business needs
  • Working with business process owners to identify potential improvements in processes, supported by HR technology, data & analytics (identifying requirements)
  • Developing optimal solutions in collaboration with IT, in line with costs, policies & guidelines
  • Actively manage a group of key-users, ensuring excellent adoption and best in class support model

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in an international environment
  • Examples of great potential backgrounds for the role:
    • HR Business Partnering background with previous international HR Project Management experience
    • Consulting background in HR Technology implementation & adoption
    • Corporate HR Technology background with an interest to independently run projects
    • Program development & HR Project implementation background
    • And many other backgrounds are possible as well
  • Key is that you’ve developed and rolled out projects/programs and have strong affinity with HR Technology
  • You have strong influencing skills and you’re able to operate at both a strategic and operational level within a complex matrix organization while managing diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Strong passion to solve business problems with data & insights, ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions based on data insights.
