Global People Analytics Manager

Job Description

Your role will be instrumental in leveraging the power of People Analytics to drive data informed insights, build a community of people analytics experts, and collaborate with senior business leaders to enhance business performance through HR metrics.

As part of the increasing investments in people analytics at JDE we’ve just launched Visier as our HR analytics platform, to a very enthusiastic reception by the community. As we continue to invest in people analytics, you will be key in developing the next steps in that journey.

We have large amounts of data waiting to be onboarded into our analytics platform so that we can reap the benefits, improving the lives of our associates while improving business performance.

The role will co-create the people analytics strategy and independently drive the people analytics strategy at JDE, while taking on specific subprojects within the team. The focus of the projects will be those that are as close to business needs as possible, resulting in excellent business impact.

Examples of projects to be initiated and deployed:

  • Leading the combination of people and business metrics to assess and build tomorrow's leadership capabilities
  • Driving sustainable, strategic initiatives while meeting external reporting needs
  • Creating & driving the analytics strategy for integrated and non-integrated JDE Peet’s entities
  • Driving workforce spend visibility (and broader SG&A) to enable optimization and decision making for business leaders
  • Designing, monitoring & tracking the effectiveness of the HR  operating model

Additional Key elements of the role:

  • Strategic Partnership:
    • Collaborate closely with senior business leaders to understand their strategic goals and align HR metrics with overall business objectives.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations that support the decision-making process on talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Data-driven Insights:
    • Harness the power of Visier to analyze and interpret HR-related data, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities that influence business performance.
    • Translate complex data findings into clear and compelling insights that guide HR strategies and initiatives.

Should you have done all of the above before, that’s great, but it’s not a must; we’re much more interested in your growth mindset and ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll be part of the Global HR Technology & Analytics team, as part of the HR function at the headquarters. The role reports into the Global HR Technology & Analytics Director.

Our technology landscape consists of SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, Qualtrics, Visier and local time & payroll systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in an international environment
  • Examples of great potential backgrounds for the role:
    • Financial planning & analysis background with a strong interest in HR
    • HR Business Partnering background with excellent data & analysis capabilities
    • People Analytics background with an interest to step up your responsibilities
    • Consulting background in HR Technology and/or Analysis
    • Corporate HR Tech background with a strong data & analysis component
    • Program development & HR Project implementation background with strong data & analysis capabilities
    • And many other backgrounds are possible as well
  • Key is that you’ve developed and rolled out projects/programs and have strong data & analysis capabilities
  • You have strong influencing skills and you’re able to operate at both a strategic and operational level within a complex matrix organization while managing diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Strong passion to solve business problems with data & insights, ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions based on data insights.
